Everyday Beauty | The end of an emotional and inspiring workshop
The last few weeks I have been a student in an online workshop called Everyday Beauty. It was taught be Ginger Unzueta over at the bloom forum. The whole experience has been really lovely. I have learned a few things, met some really amazing women, seen some incredible imagery, and increased my passion for documenting the everyday.
Our last assignment was right up my alley. Ginger asked us to pull together all the topics that had been discussed throughout the workshop (I won't go into them here, to protect her class content - I had to pay for it, you should too :) and use them to tell a story. Here it is. The last assignment I turned in. Sure, I see things I could have done better, the images are far from perfect, and yet I love them still. This is our life, this is our story, it is my heart right here in front of you, these are my children, and this is my gift to them. When I am long gone, they will have a visual history, and they will be grateful for it, or at least that is my sincere hope.
